New OnlineVital Records Database!!

The library is working on databases for vital records of past Fort Fairfield residents.

This is a huge undertaking and a work in progress. We will be adding information and links to sources as we are able.

TIPS

  • If we haven't added your ancestor yet, please see other links on the menu for more places to search.

  • If the digitized linked information is unreadable, please contact the library directly for more help. We may be able to get a better copy or alternate information for your records.

  • If a birth, marriage or death was near the end of the December in a given year, you should also check the following January for the newspaper announcement.

Some records are ONLY available as a hard copy inside the library due to copyright restrictions. These will not have online links to documents. Please contact us for help or set up an appointment to visit our Jesse Drew Archive Room to view these records. You can also check our out Digital Newspaper Archives as we continue to add local school yearbooks, school newspapers, town reports and local business records.

*all information on this site has been transcribed by hand by staff, errors may be possible. Please send any corrections to our email address listed below.
